Ugly Sweater Party!

On Friday night Kelly and Johnny had an ugly sweater party. Everyone went to the DI and found their ugly sweaters. There were some pretty awesome ones! It was a lot of fun to get together and hang out with those friends, it has been a while since we have seen them. We did a white elephant and got some pretty great stuff! After that party, we went to Kerry and Sarah's Christmas party. We did a white elephant there too. I got toilet paper and prunes. Adam was pretty excited! Even though we called it a night early, we had a lot of fun seeing a bunch of friends and sharing some laughs!

Jazz, Jazz and More Jazz!

It seemed like all we did this week was go to Jazz games! Wednesday one of my friends at work gave me some extra tickets. So, Justin and Eric joined us for the game!

On Friday night we went to dinner and the game with Emily and Larry. The game was great! The Jazz played AMAZING! It is always a good time hanging out with those guys!

On Saturday, we went to dinner and the game with my friend Sam and her husband Diego. We headed down town and we were running a little late so we decided to go to Sky Box for dinner (where we went the night before with Emily and Larry). We ordered our food and when they brought it out the server dropped Adam's ranch right on his lap. I was laughing so hard that I was almost crying! It looked like he wet his pants! (I took a picture but, I didn't think it was appropriate for the blog) After we got the mess cleaned up we were eating and Adam found a HAIR in his dinner, SICK!! They so kindly took his meal of the ticket and then took what felt like hours (to my impatient husband) to finally get us our check and get us out of there. Needless to say, we wont be going back there any time soon! We headed to the game and the Jazz got KILLED! It was a pretty terrible game! But we still had a great night!

TWILIGHT!

Jenny called me the other day and told me she had an extra ticket to the midnight showing of twilight. I was so excited! We got there at 8:30 ready to see this huge line...ya there really wasn't. There were maybe 20 people in front of us. So..3 1/2 hours to go....some girls got us some jamba juices (which Jenny SPILLED all over the carpet!). Then we played some cards and then they let us in the theature at like 9:30 I think. We thought oh crap what are we going to do in here for that long! Well don't worry! Kylie brought her apple laptop. So we made movies and took crazy pictures. Everyone around us probably thought we were crazy but hey, we had a great time. I don't think I have laughed that hard in a long time. If you get to see the pictures or videos you will understand why (Jenny made a music video!). Oh ya, and we ran into my cousin and her husband so they joined in on the pictures! Then there was the movie! I loved it! I was expecting it to be bad just because I loved the books so much. But, believe it or not, by the end I thought Edward was cute! Thanks for the great
time guys!

Colorado Trip

We took a trip to Colorado this past weekend for a little getaway! On Sunday afternoon we went to Estes Park a little mountain town in the Rocky Mountains. There was a bunch of old little shops and restaurants. All I wanted to see were some elk. So we went up there and we didn't see any. I was all bummed but we had to start heading back. We were driving out of the town and looked over and TADA there were like 50 ELK! So we pulled off and all of these elk were just chillin in a feild. I was so excited! We sat and looked at them for a minute and then decided to leave. While we were driving down I decided that I really wanted to see some big horn sheep. All the sudden we saw a bunch of people off to the side of the road taking pictures. There was a whole herd of big horn sheep. It was so awesome! I was satisfied and we had a great time!

The Big 24!

Happy Birthday to me! I just turned 24! Ah that feels so old! But, I had a wonderful Birthday! First, we decided that we need to sell Adam's car and get a new one. I really wanted a Pathfinder so we went and test drove some and I loved them! We were kind of looking at a couple different ones and were just kind of talking about it. So I was with my mom and sister the other night and had to run home for something and I opened the garage and there was a car in there! My husband totally surprised me with a new car for my birthday!
On my Birthday, we had Adam's family over for a birthday lunch/house warming party. I was really worried about fitting everyone in my small house but it worked and it was a lot of fun. Thanks everyone for coming! After that we had the Jazz game. We talked a couple of friends into coming with us. It was a blow out but still a fun game! You can never have too much Jazz!

This is my way cute new car! I LOVE IT!

Here is everyone at the Jazz game! The lady had a rough time with my camera and cut a few people out. The head that is cut off is David and you can kind of see Eric in the corner and she completely left out Eric's date!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was a lot of fun this year! My wonderful husband loves dressing up. He decided this year he wanted to be a white trash hillbilly. So, he called up my sister and they shaved his hair into this mo hawk mullet look, it was pretty awesome! Then boring old me was just a nurse. We went to our friends Porter and Heidi's for a party. Everyone was dressed so awesome and we had a really good time! After a while there, Jenny asked if we wanted to stop by another party with them. So we went and had a crazy fun time dancing till 1:30 in the morning! Then sang and danced our whole way home! Thanks for the wonderful Halloween guys!

Me and my very attractive husband. Yes, he even had to have a cigarette for his ear!

Here is everyone from the party. Aren't their costumes great?

Haunted House!

On Friday night Larry and Emily invited us to go to a haunted house with them and some of our other friends. We went to the Castle Of Chaos. This haunted house was rated number one on the travel channel so, we were all ready to be scared! Jessica had all her tactics ready and we were set! We went in and, it just really wasn't that scary (OK, so...I might have been a little scared but I am a chicken). The yellow ponchos are for the blood bath that they decided to get, which equaled a sticky mess :). It was still fun and great to see everyone! Thanks for the invite guys!

My Fun Litte Project!

I came home from work today and needed to get the ingredients to make some Halloween sugar cookies. So I pulled out the trusty old recipe box (thanks mom!) and decided that it needed a makeover! I grabbed the paint and my piles of scrapbook stuff and went to work. After a couple hours and a huge mess...my old boring recipe box has been transformed to a way cute new one!

Fall Leaves

I talked my husband into taking me up to look at the changing leaves this weekend. So, Brandon, Adam and I headed up the canyon after the huge storm we got on Saturday. We thought all the leaves might be gone from the storm but it was SO PRETTY! I love the fall! We walked around Silver Lake up Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was FREEZING and there was mud puddles and SNOW everywhere. Brandon and I got to hear Adam complaining about me getting my new pants dirty and all of our shoes muddy :). But...it was worth it. There was so much color and it was so nice to get out and breath the fresh mountain air. After we all grabbed a cup of hot chocolate and just enjoyed the mountain views. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place!

GO JAZZ!!!

I know everyone is all hyped up about football right now but we are exited because the JAZZ season starts on Thursday! It is only preseason but hey...we will take it. We bought season tickets half way through the season last year and we are hooked! We are one of those crazy screaming fans at every game (at least I am, I get a little out of control). Go Jazz!!!
